In Concert@Badrutt's Palace
This winter season, »In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace« will again be taking place and Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is looking forward to presenting some very special world stars.
Roger Hodgson is recognised as one of the most gifted composers and songwriters of our time. In 1969 he played a crucial role in the formation of the rock band Supertramp who he performed with for 14 years. He wrote and sang most of the songs which led Supertramp to an international breakthrough and sales of around 60 million records: »Breakfast in America«, "The Logical song," "Breakfast in America," “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Give a Little Bit,” “It's Raining Again,” “School,” and “Fool's Overture “ and many more. In a review of the Royal Albert Hall concert the Times London wrote, “There are few vocalists instantly recognizable from the first few bars of a song but Roger Hodgson is certainly one of that unique group. The singer/songwriter of Supertramp, his voice is as unmistakable as the distinct keyboard sound of his early hits.”
