Due to the tradition and history of the Badrutt's Palace Hotel makes us responsible, not only the conservation of the historical substance of the hotel, but also for the modernization and extension of the hotel facilities. After several years of substantial and extravagant renovations, Badrutt's Palace's Hotel team under Martha Wiedmann’s direction, has completely remodeled the «Palace Wellness» into an true wellness oasis.

Inspired by the natural beauty and grace of the Engadin Alps, a retreat has been created which incorporates the natural surroundings into the holistic approach of the «Palace Wellness». Through the use of local cembran pine wood, San Bernardino Silver from the San Bernardino Pass and with the expertise of local trades and businesses, Badrutt's Palace Hotel accentuates its affinity to the picturesque and unique surroundings that has made this luxurious mountain hotel in the heart of Switzerland so famous.

And in terms of sustainability, Badrutt's Place Hotel is forging a new path. That luxury and lifestyle need not be detrimental to the environment has been proven by the ecological and innovative modernization of the in-house heating system. This uses the nearby Lake St. Moritz as an energy supplier and has reduced the CO2 emissions to the benefit of the Engadin air quality. Guests at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel can therefore enjoy the saunas, steam baths and pools with a clear conscience and in harmony with nature.

Within the overall concept of «Palace Wellness», Badrutt's Palace Hotel combines several treatments and applications which are beneficial to the balancing and stabilizing of a healthy body and mind. The «Palace Wellness» offers luxurious therapeutic treatments in the «Treatment Centre», a modern «Fitness Centre» and the «Palace Spa/Wet Zone» with its wet room, indoor pool and heated outdoor pool. A multi-functional outdoor sports area and tennis courts are converted into a natural ice rink during the winter season. In the exclusive «Kids' Club Palazzino» children are well cared for while their parents enjoy a light lunch in «La Diala» or relax with one of the many treatments.
