The 18th British Classic Car Meeting takes place in St. Moritz from 8th to 10th July 2011. This event promises a new record attendance, a particularly high class of classic cars and plenty of fans lining the route. The beloved Concours d’Elégance is to be held on Sunday 10th July 2011 on Via Serlas in front of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

For five days golfers will indulge in their favourite sport amid the breathtaking mountainous backdrop of the Engadin valley and will be deliciously spoiled in the process. The “Gold Cup Golf Week” from 11th to 15th July 2011 celebrates the most original of match forms – match play mode.

Anyone seeking their thrills on the water should not miss out on a cruise aboard “Badrutt’s Palace”. It is the guest who determines the speed on the hotel’s own sailing boat, whether it is a social sailing party or a sporting challenge. The particular challenges of the Alpine winds are tackled by competitors during the St. Moritz Match Races between 30th August and 4th September 2011. Every year the world’s top Match Race experts come together in Canton Graubünden to battle it out boat against boat, using a format similar to that used in the America’s Cup.

During St. Moritz Art Masters the entire Engadin region turns into a spectacular art exhibition. During this year’s exhibition from 28th August to 4th September 2011, the works of Jonathan Messe, John Armleder, George Condo, Yves Netzhammer and Sarah Morris, among others, are on show. As in previous years Badrutt’s Palace Hotel will act as an exhibition venue, and in so doing, will give the traditional Swiss hotel completely new perspectives.

Discoveries and legends during the Festival da Jazz, Europe’s highest club festival takes place from 14th July to 14th August 2011. Marianne Faithful, Till Brönner and Dieter Meier are just a few of the tuneful names of artists coming to St. Moritz for a summer full of jazz. Further highlights are the performances of guitar virtuous Al di Meola and the legendary jazz pianist McCoy Tyner.
